BlockSafe is a neighborhood incident map being built for Livermore, California. Anonymous, block-level, privacy-first.

- An anonymous map where neighbors flag incidents on their block.
- Block-level pins (about a 300-foot circle) — never an exact address.
- Reports fade in 24 hours unless another neighbor confirms.
- Anyone passing by can mark a report resolved.
- A 7-day maximum lifespan on every report — no permanent stigma on places.
What it isn't
- It is not a vigilante app. No videos of people. No license plates. No names.
- It is not a police partnership. We don't pipe reports to dispatch.
- It is not a "suspicious activity" board. There's no category for that on purpose.
- It is not gossip. Free-text descriptions are short and capped.
